Research Fields
Engineering Research Center for High-energy Beam Intelligent Manufacturing Technology and Equipments is based on a Shanghai Knowledge Service Platform, Shanghai Research & Development Center for Key Technologies of Intelligent Equipments of Ultra-Intense Laser Processing. The Center is approved by Shanghai Municipal Education Commission in March 2014. The center focuses on the research and development of the key technology of high-energy beam intelligent surface modification equipments, intelligent robot high-energy beam manufacturing and advanced high-energy laser cutting equipments, to address deficiencies related to equipment in precision, automation, flexibility and intelligence. The director of the center is Professor Yu Zhishui, Dean of School of Materials Engineering of SUES.
