Research Fields

Professor Wu Chao focuses his academic research on Chinese modern academic history, management of urban culture, etc. He has published more than 20 papers in the "Historical Documents", "Religious Studies", "Northern Forum" and other key publications. His publications include the monograph "Song and Slang in Traditional Cultural Perspective" and edited "Rise of the situation: Chinese Global, National and Social Conditions in the 20th Century"(NO.3). In 2013, Profess Wu was awarded the second prize in the third Shanghai Ideological and Political Theory Courses ("Chinese Modern and Contemporary History") Teaching Competition. In 2014, he won the title of "Outstanding Young Teacher of Shanghai University of Engineering and Technology". He is now presiding over two provincial-level subjects, two commissioned-level subjects, seven school-level subjects. He has presided and finished two commissioned-level subjects, participated and finished one provincial-level subject(NO.2).
