RISE Team Won the Runner-up in the 2014 Chinese College Students Karting Challenge Finals

Yang Chengshun, a member of Rise Team and a student from School of Automotive Engineering, won the runner-up in the “Dream Cup” 2014 Chinese College Students Karting Challenge Finals which were held from October 12 to 13 in Xiangyang. The team from Beijing Institute of Technology won the championship, and the team from Tongji University ranked the third.

Chinese College Students Karting Challenge Finals are hosted by the Chinese Formula Student Car Organizing Committee. More than 40 riders from about 30 teams competed in the finals. They came from well-known universities, such as Hu'nan University, Beijing Institute of Technology, Shanghai Jiaotong University, Tongji University etc. In the finals, our university selected four players, one of whom, Yang Chengshun, ranked first in the preliminaries and then won the runner-up in the finals.

College Students Karting Challenge aims not only to help the contestants become more familiar with the track, but also to pave the way for the College Students Formula Car Race to be held between October 14 and 19.
