Features: this Major is oriented to the demand for infrastructure construction, maintenance and management talents due to rapid development of urban rail transportation and high-speed railways, and combines development and application of new technologies in the fields of transportation and civil engineering. The theories and practices related to design, construction and maintenance of rail transit infrastructure (tracks, tunnels, bridges, stations etc.) constitute the core teaching contents of this Major. The School adheres to the teaching characteristics of “solid foundation, reinforced practice, wide caliber, and pursuit of innovation” and orientate students’ training to the job positions of rail transit design s, construction enterprises, maintenance and project management in related enterprises. Students are expected to be trained into high-quality application-oriented engineering and technical talents.

Employment Orientation: graduates may engage in design, construction, equipment and facilities maintenance and management of the urban rail enterprises, railway enterprises, and in engineering organization, engineering management, engineering consulting, etc.
