Female, ethnic Han Chinese, born in March 1970, with her ancestral hometown in Hulan, Heilongjiang Province. CPC member, doctor, professor. Currently she serves as Vice President of Shanghai University of Engineering Science.
Xu Kaiyu got her bachelor’s degree in Applied Electronic Technology from Northwestern Polytechnical University, School of Marine Science and Technology in 1992, got her master’s degree in Signal and Information Processing from Harbin Engineering University, Department of Electronic Engineering in 1995, and she graduated from Shanghai Maritime University, with a doctorate degree in Power Electronics and Electric Drives in 2006.
Xu Kaiyu started working in 1995, has been long engaged in teaching, research work and management, served as Vice Dean of School of Information Engineering and Deputy Director of Science and Technology Department of Shanghai Maritime University, Deputy Director of SHMEC Science and Technology Department, Director of SHMEC Science and Technology Development Center, Director of SHMEC Scientific Research Division.
She has won the Baosteel Excellent Teacher Award, second prize of Shanghai Advanced Science and Technology.
