SUES Industry-University R & D Center for High-strength Laser Intelligent Processing Equipment and Key Technology Passed Through the Mid-term Re-evaluation

Recently, Shanghai Municipal Education Commission announced the re-evaluation results of the knowledge service platforms in Shanghai universities, SUES Industry-University R & D Center for High-strength Laser Intelligent Processing Equipment and Key Technology (hereinafter referred to as the “Center”) passed through the mid-term re-evaluation, which indicates that the Center has fulfilled the construction goals of Phrase I and satisfied the related requirements.

According to the Implementation Program for Shanghai Universities Knowledge Service Capability Improvement Project (Shanghai Education Commission [2011] No. 61) and the Notice of Shanghai Municipal Education Commission for Implementing Re-evaluation of Shanghai Universities Knowledge Service Platforms ( Shanghai Education Commission [2016] No. 86), Shanghai Municipal Education Commission conducted the mid-term re-evaluation of our university’s Knowledge Service Platform - SUES Industry-University R & D Center for High-strength Laser Intelligent Processing Equipment and Key Technology in January this year. With the care and support from the leaders of our university and Shanghai Municipal Education Commission, the collaborative enterprises and all staffs of the Center made unremitting efforts to prepare for the re-evaluation work and were given credit to by reviewers for their work.

This time the Center has also been recognized as Shanghai Collaborative Innovation Center. An the next phrase of construction, the Center will further clarify positioning and development path, continue to properly make the institutional innovation and breakthrough for introducing high-level talents and strengthen the talents raining among different universities. With a view to the actual conditions of our university, SUES will change or further adjust the name, construction goals and construction tasks so as to gain a better construction results at the next phrase.
