Recently, Shanghai Municipal Education Commission released the Notice on the Announcement of the Results of the Recognition of Municipal First-class Undergraduate Courses at Shanghai Universities for the Year of 2023. 15 courses of SUES, including Structural Modeling Creative Fashion Design, were awarded the Recognition of Municipal First-class Undergraduate Courses at Shanghai Universities for the Year of 2023.
SUES attaches great importance to curriculum construction, thoroughly implements the Double Ten Thousand Courses Plan of first-class undergraduate courses by Ministry of Education, regularly carries out a series of training on first-class course construction and declaration every year, encourages teachers to actively participate in the construction of first-class courses, establishing a new concept of curriculum construction, applying advanced educational concepts, high-quality teaching resources, with innovative teaching methods and approaches to the practice of educational and teaching reforms, in order to constantly improve the quality of instruction.
During the four years of 2020-2023, a total of 52 courses of SUES have won the recognition of municipal first-class undergraduate courses at Shanghai universities, which is in the forefront of municipal universities. SUES will continue to give full play to the demonstration and leading role of first-class courses, increase the support for course construction, optimize the course management and evaluation mechanism, and promote the reform and innovation, so as to further improve the quality of talent cultivation at the University.
