Adjunct Vice-Rector from Miguel Hernández University, Spain Visits SUES

On January 29th, Alberto Rodríguez Martínez, Adjunct Vice-Rector of Miguel Hernández University of Elche, Spain, visited SUES. Wang Qin, Director of Office of International Cooperation and Exchange, welcomed the visiting guests and presided over the cooperation meeting on SUES Changning Campus. Representatives from Office of International Cooperation and Exchange and College of International Education participated in the meeting.


Wang Qin greeted Martínez's visit with warmth and provided a concise overview of the educational philosophy and distinctive features of SUES. She emphasized the pivotal significance of internationalization as one of the “three major strategies” of SUES. Establishing meaningful international exchange opportunities for SUES faculty and students, and demonstrating to international faculty and students the philosophy and concept of open education, have consistently constituted the two most vital aspects of SUES’ globalization approach. SUES looks forward to establishing a partnership with Miguel Hernández University of Elche, Spain, to create more opportunities for both sides to broaden their international perspectives.




Martínez expressed heartfelt gratitude for the warm reception extended by SUES. He introduced the basic profile and strong academic disciplines of Miguel Hernández University of Elche, as well as their experience in conducting international student exchange programs. He indicated that the university encourages faculty and students to actively participate in international cooperation projects, and collaborating with Chinese universities will bring more attractive overseas exchange opportunities to their students and staff.


During the meeting, both parties stated their intention to cooperate and discussed the prospect of bilateral exchanges, with an emphasis on summer study abroad programs and credit recognition projects.
