Students at the School of Art and Design won the first and second prizes of the National College Students Advertising Art Competition

Recently at the 12th National College Students Advertising Art Competition National General District Selection, the School of Art and Design SUES enjoyed a bumper harvest. Zhao Lili, a student majoring in advertising, created a series of radio ads Golf: Firefly, Treasure Box and Dabai, which won first prize. Huang Xiaoming and other students created the radio advertisement How Exciting, which won the national second prize. Chen Hongyan, the advisor of these two works, won the national outstanding teacher award. Other works won four national excellence prizes.

The National College Students Advertising Art Competition is the largest national-level university arts competition directed by the Department of Higher Education of the Ministry of Education and sponsored by the Advertising Education Major Committee of the Chinese Higher Education Society. This competition attracted nearly 1,000 institutions of higher learning from 32 provinces, municipalities, and autonomous regions (including Hong Kong). This competition is well known for its wide range of institutions of higher learning, the number of participating academics and students, high level of works, and great influence in society.
