Students from Higher Vocational and Technical College Won the First Prize for Junior College Group of the National College Students’ Mathematical Contest in Modeling

Recently, good news came from the Organization Committee of the National College Students’ Mathematical Contest in Modeling. Three students from the Higher Vocational and Technical College of SUES, Cheng Mengyuan, Zhu Haoran, and Zhao Junyi won the national first prize and the first prize of Shanghai for the junior college group of the 2020 National College Students' Mathematical Contest in Modeling, which was held September 10-13th. Three other students, Zhu Xinyan, Wang Wenjie, and Ding Le, won the third prize of Shanghai in the junior college group.



Founded in 1992 by the China Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics, the National College Students’ Mathematical Contest in Modeling has become the world’s largest mathematical contest in modeling for college students. The goal of The National College Students’ Mathematical Contest in Modeling is to cultivate college students' competitive consciousness, team spirit, and to improve students' innovative ability and comprehensive quality.
