They held the Siemens Champion Trophy for the first time, and at the same time created the best results since the participation of School of Higher Vocational Education in this competition!
The Siemens Cup China Intelligent Manufacturing Challenge is jointly organized by the Guidance Committee for Automation Majors in Higher Education of Ministry of Education, Siemens (China) Co., Ltd. and the China Society of System Simulation. Since 2006, it has become the largest and highest standard national A-class competition in the field of intelligent manufacturing in China. This year's competition attracted nearly 6,000 teams with more than 25,000 teachers and students from 756 universities including 985 universities such as Xiamen University and Dalian University of Technology, which made the competition extremely fierce.
Since the tournament was launched in March, the participating teams from School of Higher Vocational Education prepared for the competition with all their might, and advanced to the national finals with the first place in the five East China regions in the national selection competition in mid-July. In the finals, the team was calm and flexible facing complex engineering practice problems, and finally stood out and achieved a historic breakthrough.
