SUES became one of the first batches of "Yangtze River Delta Cultural Creative Production and Education Alliance Universities"

On November 26th, the 5th Shanghai University Students' Cultural and Creative Works Exhibition opened in Loft Club in Changning Street, Shanghai. And the Plaque Awarding Ceremony of the first batch of Yangtze River Delta Cultural Creative Production and Education Alliance Universities was carried out simultaneously. Chen Qun, Vice Mayor of Shanghai, attended the opening ceremony and visited the outstanding award-winning works of SUES. Yu Lijuan, Deputy Secretary-General of Shanghai Municipal Government, awarded the medals to 12 universities in Shanghai, the first batch of universities to become the Yangtze River Delta Cultural Creative Production and Education Alliance Universities, and SUES is one of them. Vice President Xia Chunming attended the event.

As a key project of the 3rd round of Shanghai's Three-Year Action Plan for Combining Culture and Education from 2019 to 2021, this competition collects cultural innovation and creative works, which are completed by undergraduate students, postgraduates, and international students from universities in the Yangtze River Delta during their studies. The categories of works include nine categories that correspond to universities' characteristics, discipline classification, and cultural and creative industries' development needs. SUES leads the works of digital media art and animation for collection.

The Cultural and Creative Industry and Education Alliance of Yangtze River Delta Universities, with the name of Innovative Youth, was created. In the opening ceremony, 12 universities, including Shanghai University of Engineering Science and Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Tongji University, Donghua University, Shanghai University of Finance and Economics, the University of Shanghai for Science and Technology, and Shanghai University, became the first batch of Yangtze River Delta Cultural and Creative Industry and Education Alliance Universities in Shanghai.

The Cultural and Creative Industry and Education Alliance of Yangtze River Delta Universities continuously expand the strategic cooperation between regional universities and emerging cultural and creative enterprises. It builds a new platform to promote the Yangtze River Economic Belt's integrated regional development, especially the cross-regional cooperation in cultural and creative industries. This alliance provides a reliable backup for the flow and reserve of talents.
