Recently, the Wushulian Ranking of Chinese Universities by first-level disciplines was released. Two first-level disciplines of SUES were rated B grade (ranked among the top 20-30% nationwide), namely Business Administration, and Public Administration (Academic). Besides, three programs were rated B grade, namely Business Administration (MBA), Public Administration (MPA) and Mechanics. It is worth mentioning that MBA and MPA (professional) are professional degrees of SUES newly approved in 2022, and they achieved a good grade of B in their first subject ranking. Both ranked No.1 among newly added universities in the same batch nationwide.
In recent years, School of Management Studies has always insisted on discipline construction as the leading factor, paid close attention to the application of national level projects, introduction of high-level talents, provincial and ministerial platform construction and publication of high-level academic papers and monographs, etc., and innovated the way of organizing scientific research and incentive measures. Consequently, the School has achieved fruitful results in discipline construction, and made record highs in the quantity and quality of national level projects, ranking at the forefront of the local universities and thus contributing to the overall development and prosperity of various undertakings of SUES.
