SUES Teachers Received Awards in STICCT

On 20- 21 march, the first Shanghai Teaching Innovation Contest for College Teachers (STICCT) was held in Minhang Campus of Shanghai Jiao Tong University. All the three contestants and the teams from SUES achieved excellent results. The three teachers won the third prize in the professor group, the excellent prize in the associate professor group, and third prize in the lecturer group of local universities. The team of the professor group got the Outstanding Grassroots Teaching Organization Award, the team of the lecturer group got the Teaching Academic Innovation Award and Outstanding Grassroots Teaching Organization Award, and SUES received the Excellent Organization Award.

STICCT is the first teaching competition issued by the Ministry of Education, it aims to deeply study and implement the spirit of National Education Conference and the document “Modernization of Chinese Education 2035”, fully implement the spirit of National Conference on Undergraduate Education in the New Era, adhere to the fundamental task of “strengthen moral education and cultivate people”, implement the requirements of the concepts “on the basis of undergraduate education” and “the Four Returns”. The contest is led by the concept “the Four New”, focuses on teaching innovation, strives to cause a stir of learning revolution, to improve teachers’ ability to deeply integrate modern information technology with education teaching and teaching innovation, and to improve the quality of talent training.
