On November 2, at the final review of the 14th “Challenge Cup” Qinchuangyuan National Entrepreneurship Competition for Chinese College Students, SUES students proudly won two silver medals, achieving a new record for our group performance. The two award-winning projects were from two schools. One was from School of Materials Science and Engineering, and the project was titled “High-Efficiency, High-Quality Domestic Magnetron Rotating Arc Welding Equipment System—Breaking Foreign Monopolies and Realizing Full Domestic Production”. The other was from School of Urban Railway Transportation and the project was titled “Self-Talking Core—Wireless Health Monitoring System for Metro Self-Powered Bearing Status”.
This national competition attracted more than 3 million college students from over 2,700 colleges and universities, and over 390,000 innovation and entrepreneurship projects were submitted.
SUES has been consistently regarding the “Challenge Cup” series of competitions as a significant platform for cultivating young innovative talents. In the next phase, SUES will continue to leverage the “Challenge Cup” competitions to drive innovation and learning, providing a broad stage for the youth at SUES to pursue innovation and entrepreneurship.
