On July 13, Vehicle Engineering (Urban Railway Transportation Vehicles) program received the confirmation letter from the ASIIN accreditation committee, stating that the Program passed the ASIIN accreditation unconditionally, with a valid period of 6 years. This is the first SUES program received and passed the international accreditation for programs, marking SUES's breakthrough in discipline construction and a new step in education and teaching reform and quality improvement.

Under the concern and support of university leaders, Academic Affairs Office, International Exchange Office and other functional departments, and with the active cooperation of sister colleges and industry enterprises, the ASIIN accreditation of Vehicle Engineering program was officially launched in 2019. According to the accreditation standard of ASIIN committee, the faculty members of the program have worked very hard for more than two years to further improve the training plan, to optimize the curriculum and laboratories, and to meet the requirements of the accreditation with high standards.
