On the morning of April 14, SUES President Lou Yongqi conducted an in-depth on-site visit and inspection across various parts of SUES campus. His itinerary included stops at student dormitories, the Phase III construction site, academic buildings, and the dining halls, etc. During the visit, he engaged in face-to-face conversations with both students and faculty to gain insights into campus construction and talent cultivation efforts.
President Lou visited student dormitories to inspect living environment and public facilities. He also received a detailed briefing from relevant departments on the progress of the Phase III construction project. Throughout the visit, he held warm conversations with students, listening attentively to their feedback on the campus environment, academic resources, daily services, and career guidance. He emphasized the importance of improving the student service and support system, enhancing dormitory living conditions, and establishing a supportive structure that better meets the developmental needs of youths.
While touring the academic buildings, President Lou examined the University’s smart classroom systems, gaining a detailed understanding of the current teaching operations, course scheduling, classroom coordination, and the integration of smart technologies. He also attended an undergraduate class on-site. President Lou highlighted the need to leverage digital technologies to further improve teaching management and optimize the allocation of educational resources.
At the university dining hall, President Lou had lunch with students and took the opportunity to inquire into food pricing and service quality. He listened carefully to students’ suggestions and opinions regarding the University's development and campus services. He encouraged the students to take initiative in planning their academic and career paths, to broaden their horizons, and to enhance their overall competencies.
