The 6th International Conference on Control, Robotics Cybernetics and the 1st Postgraduate Academic Forum on Mechanical Engineering Was Held at SUES

From October 9 to 11, the 6th International Conference on Control, Robotics Cybernetics (CRC 2021) and the First Postgraduate Academic Forum on Mechanical Engineering was held both online and offline format. The conference hosted by SUES, and co-organized by Beijing Institute of Control Robotics and Intelligent Technology and China Electronics Technology Robotics Company. More than 200 scholars and graduate students from 15 countries such as Poland, Italy, Canada, etc., and other cities of China such as Beijing and Guangzhou attended the conference. The conference was hosted by Professor Cui Guohua, Dean of the School of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering of SUES.


Professor Zhang Hua, the chairman of the conference and the director of the graduate student department of SUES, said in his speech, that the conference provided a platform for all to discuss issues related to the field of robot cybernetics, so people could exchange typical cases and share the latest achievements, and the goal of the conference was to promote the exchanges and cooperation in the field of robot cybernetics between SUES and other domestic and foreign universities.



In the section of keynote speech, a number of distinguished scholars of the world gave their own speech, they were Professor Zhang Jianhua from Shanghai University, Professor Biao Huang from University of Alberta Canada and Dong Hua University, Professor Li Youfu from University of Hong Kong, Professor Zhang Xuebo from Nankai University, Professor Yue Yi from SUES, Professor Giuseppe Carbone from University of Calabria, Italy, Professor Hab. Teresa from Institute of Aeronautics and Applied Mechanics, Warsaw University of Technology. The speeches are entitled “Basic application research and integrated innovation of the new generation of new display technology”, “Reinforcement Learning with Control Engineering Application”, “Robot vision: insights from bio-inspired vision to machine vision systems”, “Robust Robot Localization for Autonomous Navigation”, “Design and Experimental Research of a novel High-Precision 5-DOF Hybrid Robot”, “On The Design of Assistive Robotics Solutions”, “Robotics in a historical perspective”, which focused on the hot and difficult issues on intelligent control and robotics cybernetics, the scholars had in-depth exchanges with the participants.



In the sub-forum, the experts and scholars from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Tianjin University of Technology, Nankai University, and the 21st Research Institute of China Electronics Technology Group gave more than 100 excellent reports.
