On behalf of the University, President Yu Tao expressed his heartfelt thanks to the German expert group for their hard work. He pointed out that the international certification is conducive to the establishment of a student-centered, goal-oriented and continuous improvement quality assurance system for the major, so as to cultivate the quality awareness of faculty and students, focus on enhancing the core competitiveness, industry impact and social contribution of the University's engineering majors, provide a solid foundation for the cultivation of students' professional competence and create strong conditions for their overall development. We hope that through this international professional certification, the program of Railway Transportation Signals and Control at School of Urban Railway Transportation will continue to achieve quality improvement and promote the  construction of majors as well as overall instruction level of SUES to a new level. The University will fully accept the suggestions and opinions put forward by the review group, and study them carefully and continuously improve them after the meeting.

Professor Dirk Dahlhaus, chairman of the review group, gave feedback on behalf of the expert group on the preliminary examination. He highly praised the distinctive features of the Railway Transportation Signals and Control program, which has delivered a large number of talents to the railway transportation industry through the close cooperation with the enterprise side. He hoped he could come to Shanghai next time to experience the technology and development of Shanghai Metro. At the same time, he also objectively pointed out that he hoped the Program could make continuous improvement in three aspects: firstly, enhancing the curriculum construction in safety; secondly, further enhancing the faculty construction for medium and long-term development considerations; and thirdly, promoting international exchange and exchange of students as well as industry-university cooperation projects by adopting modular planning.

During the three-day online examination, the ASIIN expert group held special seminars with representatives of professional leaders, faculty members, students and enterprise experts, and conducted in-depth conversations and examinations on professional development overview, international cooperation, professional characteristics, training objectives, curriculum structure, quality management, instructional documents and their transparency, competitiveness of graduates, and university-enterprise cooperation.
