On the afternoon of May 13th, the 2022 Graduate Employment Promotion Conference of the Collaborative Innovation Alliance of High-level Applied Universities (CIAHAU) in G60 S &T Innovation Valley of Yangtze River Delta was successfully held online. The event was jointly sponsored by the joint conference office of G60 S &T Innovation Valley, Human Resources and Social Security Bureau of Songjiang District and Shanghai University of Engineering Science (SUES), and co-organized by 10 alliance universities including Anhui Engineering University.




Yu Tao, Chairman of the CIAHAU in G60 S &T Innovation Valley, and the President of SUES, and Zhu Xiaoqing, Vice President of SUES, as well as Liu Fusheng, Director of the joint conference office of G60 S &T Innovation Valley, and Deputy Head of People’s Government of Songjiang District, attended the meeting. Executives from six companies, including Transcom Instruments (Shanghai) Technology Co., Ltd., participated in the online livestreaming recommendation. SUES faculty representatives, valedictorian of the class of 2022, and more than 200 corporate representatives attended the conference. The meeting was presided over by Chen Guang, Host of Shanghai People’s Broadcasting Station and Yangtze River Delta Radio station.




At the meeting, President Yu Tao said that facing the extremely complicated and severe employment situation this year, colleges and universities will persist in unifying their thoughts and actions into the decision-making of the CPC Central Committee, the State Council and the Ministry of Education. Together with G60, we will build a platform for recruitment and job hunting, strive to overcome the adverse effects of the pandemic on employment, and directly recommend graduates to enterprises and promote enterprises for graduates, so as to achieve a bright future for students.



Liu Fusheng, Deputy Head of Songjiang District, expressed warm welcome and sincere thanks to the leaders, guests, teachers and students attending the conference on behalf of the organizer. He said that the office of G60 S &T Innovation Valley will, as always, set up platforms to help universities and enterprises cooperate more closely and efficiently, and help more outstanding students integrate into G60 S &T Innovation Valley. At the same time, it is hoped that more outstanding enterprises will cooperate with university alliances, settle in the G60 S &T Innovation Valley, strive to become the benchmark of the industry, and make greater contributions to the transition from Made in China to Created in China.



Zhu Xiaoqing, Vice President of SUES, made a livestreaming recommendation for the graduates, introducing briefly the University, its characteristics and talent training in detail. According to the recruitment of enterprises, she accurately recommended 171 resumes, focusing on 9 outstanding graduates. She said that the graduates are full of passion, creativity and responsibility. She hoped that the representatives of the enterprises would offer olive branch to the graduates so that they can develop hand in hand with the enterprises.


Leaders of 10 allied universities, including Anhui Engineering University, have stepped in front of the camera to strive for employment opportunities for graduates. Transcom Instruments (Shanghai) Technology Co., Ltd. and other six key enterprises in G60 S &T Innovation Valley gave an online presentation, introducing the general situation, recruitment positions, and prospects of the enterprises in detail. At the same time, more than 200 enterprises participated online, providing more than 3,000 high-quality jobs. The G60 office actively contacted 2,800 enterprises and posted more than 30,000 jobs through G60 S &T Innovation Valley Cloud. Songjiang Human Resources and Social Security Bureau has actively connected employers, held more than 20 large-scale online job fairs, provided more than 10,000 jobs for graduates, and will continue to provide students with various employment and entrepreneurship service activities such as career guidance, online interview, policy consultation, internship and so on.
