On the evening of April 30, the 23rd Chinese University Basketball Association (CUBA) League One (Southeast Division) competition came to a successful conclusion at SUES Songjiang campus gymnasium.
The men’s basketball team of Ningbo University and the women’s basketball team of China University of Mining and Technology won the championship in the Southeast Division. The men’s basketball player Luan Licheng of Ningbo University and the women’s basketball player Li Jiana of China University of Mining and Technology won the titles of most valuable players. SUES men’s basketball team achieved the best results in the last seven years. SUES player Zhang Junjie won the Southeast Division’s three-point contest and was selected for the Marbury training camp.
The competition supervisor Dong Yongning, and Liu Qingguang, Secretary-General of Basketball Branch of China University Sports Association presented the Women's Champion Medal and the Golden Rebound Award to China University of Mining and Technology.
Zhang Yuangeng, executive director and competition supervisor of China University Sports Association, and Liu Qingguang presented the Men's Champion Medal and the Golden Rebound Award to to Ningbo University.

SUES hosted the competition this time, enriching the campus sports culture, showing the charm of sports, and inspiring teachers and students the sense of honor. Many teachers and students spontaneously went to the gymnasium to cheer for SUES basketball players.
