On the morning of February 2nd, SUES signed an agreement on the deep integration and coordinated development between SUES and the District with the Songjiang District People's Government, promoting the SUES-Songjiang District integrated development to a new level and opening up a new situation. Many relevant leaders of both SUES and the Songjiang District government attended the signing ceremony, including Li Jiang, Secretary of CPC Committee of SUES,Yu Tao, President and deputy Secretary of CPC Committee of SUES, Wang Yansong and Xia Chunming, Deputy Presidents of SUES; Cheng Xiangmin, Secretary of the Songjiang District CPC Committee, Li Qian, Deputy Secretary of the District CPC Committee and Mayor of the District, and Zhu Minglin and Gu Jieyan, Deputy Mayors of the District.
Li Jiang, Secretary of CPC Committee of SUES, expressed his gratitude to Songjiang District for its long-term concern and love for the development of SUES. He pointed out that in recent years, Songjiang District has been guided by the implementation of the major national strategic tasks of the G60 Science and Technology Innovation Corridor in the Yangtze River Delta, and has achieved leapfrog and high-quality economic and social development. With the support of the District committee and the District government, SUES has also made significant progress in various undertakings, and its comprehensive strength has been significantly improved. This signing is a major measure for SUES to align with the national strategy, take root in the region, serve the local area, and continue to deepen the integration of industry and education. SUES will further improve its standing and strive to write a new chapter of cooperation with new thinking.
Secretary Cheng Xiangmin thanked SUES for its outstanding contributions to the high-quality economic and social development of Songjiang District over the years, and pointed out that since SUES settled in Songjiang University Park, the two sides between the district and the university have walked hand in hand for 20 years, and the strategic partnership has been deepening, and this signing is a milestone for promoting both the District and the University to achieve a higher level of deep integration and coordinated development. Standing at a new historical starting point, we hope that the two sides will not waver in adhering to the new development concept, let the source of innovation flow into Songjiang University Town, and jointly create a new miracle of high-quality development in adversity in the source of the G60 Science and Technology Innovation Corridor in the Yangtze River Delta.
At the meeting, they heard a briefing on the cooperation between Songjiang District and SUES, and the two sides signed an agreement on the in-depth integration and coordinated development between SUES and the Songjiang District. According to the agreement, the two parties will further deepen cooperation in the fields of innovation platform construction, talent training and introduction, scientific and technological research and development and transformation. The National University Science and Technology Park project of Shanghai University of Engineering Science will first cooperate with Dongjing Town, and the innovation and entrepreneurship incubation base will land in Guangfulin Street, and the signing and opening ceremony of the cooperation framework agreement will be held on site.
