SUES College of International Education Held a International Student Safety and Entry/exit Regulations Seminar

On the afternoon of March 17, College of International Education hosted a lecture on international student safety and entry/exit regulations on the 19th floor of the Administration Building. The lecture was attended by all international students on Songjiang Campus of SUES and was delivered by the police officers from Songjiang Branch of the Shanghai Municipal Public Security Bureau, as well as the staff from the Security Office and School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering of SUES.



Wang Qin, Director of the International Cooperation and Exchange Office and Dean of College of International Education, greeted the students warmly, expressed high hopes for their studies, provided an overview on SUES and introduced the development of international student education work at the University.



Songjiang Immigration Office officers Chen Ming and Ren Yuchang delivered a lecture on immigration regulations for foreigners. Teacher Liu Yu from SUES Security Office discussed campus security, and Teacher Wu Ting demonstrated how to use a fire extinguisher. Guo Lijuan, a counselor of School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, gave an overview on campus life. Teachers from College of International Education introduced study discipline and insurance for foreign students.



The University provides students with timely legal education and early prevention by popularizing practical laws and regulations for international students, offering relevant guidelines and safety instructions, in order to improve their safety and legal awareness, and to prevent problems from occurring.
