From May 30 to June 5, the RoboMaster 2023 Central Regional was held at the stadium of Wujin District, Changzhou. More than 30 colleges and universities from the central region, including China University of Mining and Technology (2023 University League Jiangsu Champion), Nanchang University (2022 National League Second Prize Winner), Harbin Institute of Technology (2022 National League First Prize Winner), participated in the competition and competed for admission to the national league. After 7 days of competition, 9 teams directly advanced to the national league. Under the guidance and leadership of SUES teachers: Zhang Chunyan, head of Mechanical Innovation Base of Student Science and Technology Innovation Center, Yang Guang from Academic Affairs Office and Zhang Zhanghua, technical director, SUES Birdiebot team won the third place for the first time and successfully promoted to the national league.
The RoboMaster, initiated by DJI Technology Co., Ltd., is one of the competitions under the National Undergraduate Robot Competition.
The Birdiebot team from the Mechanical Innovation Base of the Student Science and Technology Innovation Center of School of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering has entered the national competition for four years since its establishment in 2019, and has been promoted to the national first-class team.
The extraordinary results achieved this time were inextricably linked to the daily high-intensity preparation carried out by members of the team, as well as the well-organized manner in which they performed during the competition. We are looking forward to more brilliant performance of Birdiebot team in the national games in Shenzhen in August.
