Pingdingshan University and SUES have cooperated in the fields of discipline construction, program construction, talent training, scientific research and development, jointly promoting the construction of high-level application-oriented universities. The two universities signed a strategic cooperation agreement on June 1st this year. From July 25th to July 29th , Professor Gu Yi, Dean of International School of Creative Design, led a team to Henan Province for research and inspection. He visited and inspected Pingdingshan University, Master Li Tinghuai's studio, Qingliang Temple Ru Porcelain Kiln Site, Juntai Jun Kiln Site, Han Dong Art Studio, Jianye Shenhou Tiandi Project, Industry-University-Research Enterprises and other places.
During the visit to Pingdingshan University, Gu Yi and his team members successively inspected and investigated the China Ceramic Technology Exhibition Hall, the Realistic Training and Creation Workshop of School of Ceramics of Pingdingshan University, laboratories of various disciplines, Henan Province Key Laboratory of Zhongyuan Ancient Ceramics Research, Lushan Flower Porcelain Museum, Ceramics College and other on-campus teaching and research facilities. In addition, Dr. Gu met with Tian Jianwei, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Pingdingshan Committee.
During the inspection of Master Li Tinghuai's studio, Wang Hao, deputy county magistrate of Baofeng County, and Li Tinghuai, a master of the representative inheritor of national intangible cultural heritage (Ru kiln firing technique), accompanied the inspection, and the two sides exchanged views on the history, creative skills and artistic expression of Ru kiln firing history, and visited the exhibition of Master Li Tinghuai's works and Qingliang Temple Ru Porcelain Kiln Site.
During the inspection in Xuchang City, Gu Yi and his team came to Henan Juntai Jun Kiln Site and Henan Jun Porcelain Museum, and Su Zhaoyang, director of Yuzhou Jun Porcelain Kiln Site Museum, accompanied the inspection and talks. The two sides exchanged views on the protection policy, future development, and kiln transformation art of Jun Kiln.
Gu Yi and his team then visited Master Han Dong's studio. Master Han Dong welcomed Dean Gu Yi and his team, and introduced various artistic creations and creative ideas in detail in recent years, hoping to cooperate and innovate with the International School of Creative Design to create new ideas of artistic creation.
In the course of the inspection of Shenhou Town, the capital of Jun porcelain in China, Dr. Gu and his team successively inspected Jianye Shenhou Tiandi Project and Shenhou Ceramics Research and Education Base. After that, Dean Gu Yi and his team investigated the industry-university-research enterprises and cooperative units in Xuchang City, and held talks with the heads of the units.
During the inspection of Pingdingshan City and Xuchang City in Henan Province, strong support has been supported by Pingdingshan University. The two sides have pragmatically implemented the various exchanges proposed in the cooperation agreement, laying the foundation for further broadening the scope of cooperation and improving the cooperation mechanism.
