On 9th August, Hahn Kyong Ho, Director of International Office of Dongseo University, and his delegation visited SUES. Wang Qin, Director of International Cooperation and Exchange Office, Li Cong, Deputy Director of International Cooperation and Exchange Office, Gu Yi, Dean of International Institute of Creative Design, and Kim Chong Ki, Dean of Korean side, all attended the cooperative meeting.
Wang Qin warmly welcomed Hahn Kyong Ho and his delegation to SUES, and conveyed her appreciation to the International Office of Dongseo University for the strong support throughout the two universities’ joint application of the International Institute of Creative Design. Hahn Kyong Ho conveyed the concern and support of Dongseo University President Chang Je Kuk for the International Institute of Creative Design, as well as Dongseo university’s faculty dispatch program and suggestions for the future development of the Institute. The two sides had an in-depth discussion and exchanged views on the entrance ceremony of the first students of the International Institute of Creative Design, the dispatch of faculty and the guarantee of work and life, and the arrangement of the course schedule. On the foundation of more than two decades of successful cooperation between the two universities, both sides believed that their cooperation marked a new historic breakthrough with new development goals. Both sides stated that they would continue to maintain close and effective communication, provide firm support and solid guarantees for the future operation of the International Institute of Creative Design, and jointly cultivate high-end design talent with academic literacy, international vision, and design innovation ability.
During the meeting, Wang Qin extended a warm invitation to the delegation to visit SUES in October for the first-ever Global Partnership Week of SUES.
