The National College Student Smart Car Competition is an exploratory engineering practice activity, which aims to create a model car that can autonomously recognize roads. The competition has a relatively unified standard hardware and software platform. Since its establishment, the competition has been popularized in over a thousand universities in more than 30 provinces and cities across the country. The competition process includes theoretical design, practical production, vehicle debugging, and on-site competition, requiring college students to form teams, collaborate, and experience the whole process of an engineering research and development project.
