Vice President of Chaoyang University of Science and Technology, Taiwan Province, Mr. Songqi Hsu and his delegation visited SUES

On October 10, a delegation from Chaoyang University of Science and Technology (CUST), Taiwan Province, including Vice President Songqi Hsu and Director of Cross-Strait Affairs Li Yanwei, visited SUES. Vice President Xia Chunming received the guests, and leaders in charge of Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan Office, School of Air Transportation (School of flying), and the General Education Center participated in the cooperation negotiation.

 

Vice President Xia Chunming shared SUES’ teaching achievements in the field of aviation flight and general education, emphasized the importance of the two sides to jointly promote exchanges in faculty and student exchanges, academic cooperation, and scientific research projects, and hoped that the cooperation between the two sides would bring a new impetus to the development of education.

 

Vice President Songqi Hsu expressed his gratitude for the warm reception from SUES and emphasized the potential of cooperation between universities on both sides of the Taiwan Strait. He introduced the characteristics of Chaoyang University of Science and Technology and its teaching and research achievements, saying that the two universities share similar educational philosophies and that this exchange will help promote the academic level of both sides.

 

During the meeting, the two sides exchanged views and reached preliminary intentions on student exchanges, mutual visits of faculty, scientific research cooperation and other fields. Vice President Songqi Hsu and his entourage visited relevant laboratories at SUES and gained a deeper understanding of the teaching and scientific research of SUES. This exchange has made a positive contribution to expanding and deepening the educational exchange and cooperative relationship between SUES and CUST, strengthening substantive cooperation, and promoting cross-strait educational cooperation and civil exchanges.
