On November 10th, Rebekah Lim Wei Ying, Deputy Dean of College of Interdisciplinary and Experiential Learning & Director of Teaching and Learning Centre of School of Interdisciplinary and Experiential Learning of Singapore University of Social Sciences, visited SUES. Zhou Xiaozhou, Deputy Director of the International Cooperation and Exchange Department, presided over the cooperation meeting, and the head of School of Management Studies attended the meeting.
Zhou Xiaozhou extended a warm welcome to the delegation. She expressed that this first visit is of great significance for strengthening mutual understanding and expanding cooperation areas between the two sides. She hopes to carry out more collaborative projects that benefit faculty and students. Professor Qiu Menghua, Vice Dean in charge of international cooperation and exchange at School of Management Studies, and Associate Professor Qian Qu, Director of the Master's Program in Management at Singapore University of Social Sciences, respectively introduced the basic situation of the two universities.
Rebekah Lim Wei Ying expressed gratitude to SUES for the warm reception. Based on the similarities between the two universities in talent cultivation and subject settings, Rebekah Lim Wei Ying wishes that the master's degree cooperation between the two universities, which share similarities in subject settings and talent development, could facilitate more interactive exchanges between instructors and students via summer programs, short-term student credit mutual recognition programs, and other areas.
During the visit, Rebekah Lim Wei Ying delivered a project presentation for undergraduate students of School of Management Studies, visited several laboratories, and gained a deeper understanding of SUES’ training mode, subject characteristics, and student learning experience.
