On November 23rd, SUES held an online cooperation meeting with Franklin University Switzerland. The heads of Office of International Cooperation and Exchange, College of International Education and School of Management Studies attended the meeting.
At the meeting, Director Wang Qin extended warm greetings to the participants of Franklin University Switzerland and introduced the 1+1+1 dual degree program of the two universities. She pointed out that the purpose of this cooperation meeting is to further expand the field of cooperation, realize deeper cooperation such as master's dual degree programs, faculty exchanges, scientific research cooperation, etc., and lay a solid foundation for the establishment of long-term friendly cooperative relations between the two universities.
Li Yuewen, Vice Dean of College of International Education, introduced the short-term summer program for international students and welcomed teachers and students from Franklin University Switzerland to carry out exchange activities.
Samuel Martín-Barbero, President of Franklin University Switzerland, gave a brief introduction to the basic situation of the university from the aspects of its history and educational accreditation. He said that as a growing higher education institution in Switzerland, the university hopes to continue to cooperate with SUES to carry out high-quality and high-level educational and cultural exchanges. Lucila Perez Mollo, VP of Admissions and Enrollment Management, Franklin University Switzerland, presented the university's internationalization achievements and summer short-term program options.
In April 2023, SUES signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Franklin University Switzerland and has successfully launched a summer course program. This cooperation meeting played a positive role in promoting the development of the cooperative relationship between the two universities. At the meeting, leaders and representatives of the two sides discussed the specific details and implementation plan of the cooperation project, and reached a preliminary consensus. Both parties hope that through this cooperation, educational resources will complement and promote each other, and provide students with a broader space for academic exchanges and development.
